As part of its commitment to sustainability,&nbsp;Descon Oxychem&nbsp;recently conducted a tree plantation drive at its manufacturing site. Employees from across departments participated in planting native and climate-resilient trees, contributing to a healthier and greener ecosystem.

Tree Plantation Drive at Descon Oxychem Plant

Descon Automation &amp; Control (DAC) has secured an order from Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) for the upgradation of HMI workstations at the Dehydration Unit (DHU) of their KDT Gas Processing Facility in Sindh.

The upgrade will enhance the DHU&rsquo;s ability to effectively remove moisture from gas before delivery, improving both operational performance and the quality of gas supplied to customers. Through advanced monitoring and control, this project will contribute to more efficient production.

DAC&rsquo;s consistent track record in delivering such value-driven solutions continues to reinforce our position as a trusted partner for E&amp;P companies across the country.

DAC Secures Order from PPL for HMI Workstation Upgrade

Descon Oxychem is excited to announce a significant milestone in its journey towards&nbsp;expanding foreign business.&nbsp;In their ongoing efforts to optimize trade operations and enhance their market reach, they have successfully established a new&nbsp;trade route via China to address the Central Asian markets.

This strategic move is designed to provide a reliable and efficient alternative to existing trade channels, which are sometimes impacted by external challenges. The new route promises to streamline DOL&rsquo;s logistics, reduce transit times, and strengthen their supply chain resilience.

To mark this momentous occasion, key members of DOL&rsquo;s team were present on-site to oversee the departure of the first trucks embarking on this new journey. This is just the beginning of what the company anticipates will be many successful ventures along this route.

Descon Oxychem Ltd. Launches New Trade Route via China for International Sales

Descon Engineering &ndash; Industrial Services Oman has been awarded the Reformer works package for the upcoming Oman Methanol Turnaround in 2025 by Schmidt + Clemens (S+C) .

This will be the largest Shutdown / Reformer works that will be handled by Descon under&nbsp; S+C till date, following successful executions in 2019 and 2022. The scope involves Catalyst tubes, Inlet, Outlet Pigtails, Header T-cones replacements , Removal and Installation of Air Ducts, Hangers and Burners along with all associated Mechanical and Scaffolding works.

This project re-affirms Descon&rsquo;s capability to execute critical jobs with OEM partners and further expands our presence in Oman Turnaround segment. This will also strengthen our partnership with S+C and enable us to leverage this expertise to other clients in the region.

Schmidt + Clemens (S+C) Awards Reformer Package for Oman Methanol Turnaround 2025

Descon Engineering&#39;s Industrial Services Division has been recognized for the safe and successful completion of the EnVen Project at ENGRO Fertilizer Plant (EFERT) in Dharki, Pakistan.

In honor of this achievement, EFERT&#39;s senior management, including Mr. Syed Shahzad Nabi (SVP Manufacturing), Mr. Muhammad Majid Latif (VP Technical), and Mr. Muhammad Nauman (GM Engineering Mechanical), visited Descon Headquarters. DEL Successfully Completes and Hands Over Plant Relocation Project to AkzoNobel

Descon Engineering&#39;s Industrial Services Division (UAE) has recently been awarded its biggest EPC retrofit project - &quot;EPC FOR UPGRADE STUB-ENDS FOR B3 HDPE CCCW SYSTEM&nbsp;&quot; project by Borouge.

The objective of this project is to enhance the reliability of the Closed-Circuit Cooling Water (CCCW) System by Upgrading HDPE Stub-Ends&#39; (at various locations across the plant), along with associated Piping, Mechanical, Civil &amp; Structural, E&amp;I works.

The project duration is 20 months, including execution of some critical jobs in Borouge-03 TA window.

FERTIL Awards Construction Of Carbon Clean Technology Pilot Project (CycloneCC) to Descon Engineering

Descon Engineering&#39;s Industrial Services Division (Oman) has been awarded with Reformer Works Package&nbsp;for the upcoming OMIFCO Turnaround 2024.&nbsp;For the execution of this work, Descon Engineering&#39;s team shall again be partnering with the global special steel solutions specialist, Schmidt + Clemens (S+C).&nbsp;Descon will bring its accumulated expertise of Reformer Catalyst Tube Replacement works along with associated mechanical works during the plant turnaround. The scope includes replacement of 264 Catalyst tubes within a window of 14 days.

This award shall further strengthen Descon&#39;s strategic partnership with S+C in Oman, leveraging our expertise in specialized reformer works in the Middle East . Also, this award is in line with the geographical expansion of ISD Oman along with upcoming future opportunities with OMIFCO and other critical assets in Sur Region.

It is a pleasure to share a remarkable milestone achieved by our diligent workforce at the Package 1 Project in Asab &amp; Sahil. On September 22, 2023, we reached an extraordinary feat: One Million LTI-Free Construction Manhours! The project&nbsp;&ldquo;Procurement &amp; Construction of Flowlines and Wellhead Installations at Asab &amp; Sahil, Package 1 Part 2&rdquo;&nbsp;commenced in&nbsp;April&nbsp;2021, with on-site construction kick-off in September 2022.

To celebrate this accomplishment and acknowledge the dedication and commitment of our workforce, an Award Ceremony was organized by the EPC team. Descon Engineering (Qatar) has once again demonstrated its unwavering commitment to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) excellence&nbsp;during recent QAFCO-02 Turnaround which involved ~0.92 Mill safe Manhours.&nbsp;This&nbsp;remarkable&nbsp;achievement has positioned Descon Engineering in the&nbsp;1st position&nbsp;among&nbsp;10 contractors&nbsp;and&nbsp;has been acknowledged&nbsp;with a &quot;Certificate of Appreciation&quot; by Qatar Fertilizer Company&nbsp;(QAFCO).

This recognition is a testament to&nbsp;Descon&#39;s&nbsp;outstanding performance and remarkable contribution to the safe execution and completion of the QAFCO-02 Turnaround project. OLAYAN DESCON has recently awarded Detailed Design &amp; Engineering for the new BUCAT Plant of PETROKEMYA (SABIC) to Descon Engineering Services &amp; Technology (DEST). PETROKEMYA intends to install new BUCAT Plant at Petrokemya-West, Jubail, similar to existing plant at SABIC-STC Riyadh. The scope of award includes:

	<li>BUCAT preparation system</li>
	<li>Wastage vessel for off-spec catalyst disposal</li>
	<li>Loading system for finished product (BUCAT)</li>
	<li>Flare system including flare knock-out drum &amp; flare stack.</li>
	<li>Fire Fighting system with HCIS approval</li>
</ul>

DEST&rsquo;s proactive approach and quality performance in lieu of this project shall pave way to strengthen its presence in KSA and secure future projects.

Olayan Descon Awards Detailed Engineering of New BUCAT Plant (PETROKEMYA /SABIC) to DEST

Descon Engineering&rsquo;s Industrial Services Division has been awarded Construction, Installation and Tie-In activities project of Rehman, Front End Compression Facility by PGNiG.

The primary scope of work includes civil works and installation of front-end compressors, produced water pumps, slug catcher vessel, FEC scrubber, wet surface cooler, piping and E&amp;I works.

The project site in interior Sindh poses a major challenge because of its remoteness and very tough terrain. Regardless, Descon remains committed to deliver the project with ambitious timeline, complying to highest safety standards and excellence in execution.

PGNiG Reaffirms Confidence in Descon Engineering Awards Construction, Installation & Tie-Ins Projec

Qatar Petrochemical Company (QAPCO) has awarded a Long-Term Maintenance Contract for 5 years to Descon Engineering&rsquo;s Industrial Services Division. Descon Engineering&rsquo;s Construction Division has been awarded DIC Pakistan&rsquo;s &lsquo;Project IRIS&rsquo; in Kasur.&nbsp;Descon is the main contractor for the project and responsible for all the civil works of this new facility. The scope of work includes multiple buildings, warehouses, ink manufacturing facility and external infrastructure works having a total covered area of 110,000 sqft.

Descon Engineering&rsquo;s leadership team held a meet-up with Qatar&rsquo;s senior banking officials in early February, with an intent to introduce and strengthen Descon&rsquo;s relationship with existing and potential partners in the said sector. DAC has secured its first order from Rousch Power Plant Ltd (RPPL) for Siemens PLC based Control Systems for Demineralized Water Treatment Plant &amp; Black Start Diesel Generator.&nbsp;

During this walk-down, the leadership team engaged with the site employees on HSE and well-being matters, looked at the overall HSE arrangements of the project, PPE compliance, and also issued Spot Awards to employees on their exemplary HSE knowledge and compliance while working at site.

Committed to Safety: DEL Managementâ€™s HSE Walkdown of the Descon Workshop

Descon Engineering &ndash; Oman has recently been awarded EPCC project at MAF Refinery from OQ, for upgrade of existing diesel driven Fire Water Pumps with higher capacity (2 x 1135 m3/hr) and provide additional piping and E&amp;I services to overcome hydraulic limitations.

Descon Engineering is aggressively working on its strategic direction to expand its area of operation in the region and this award is a breakthrough in EPC Retrofit segment, being one of the biggest EPC retrofit projects in Oman.

OQ Awards EPC Retrofit Project to Descon Engineering

Descon Engineering&rsquo;s Industrial Services Division has won an award from OQ for EPCC Contract for FG Absorber (C-2251) Tray Supply and replacement during Sohar Refinery 1-TA. The scope includes design, detail engineering, supply of Trays and associated material. Replacement of existing trays with upgrade design in collaboration with OEM &ldquo;GTI Solutions&rdquo; shall be carried out during the refinery&rsquo;s planned TA, followed by testing and commissioning support services.

OQ is a repeat customer for Descon and this project will further strengthen Descon&rsquo;s relationship with OQ downstream in Oman.

Descon Engineering Wins EPC Contract for FG Absorber Tray Supply & Replacement at Sohar Refinery

Descon Engineering&rsquo;s Industrial Services Division (Qatar) has been awarded a significant project under their Turnaround segment by Dolphin Energy Limited.

The project is critical and unique as the client, for the very first time in history, will cut-off the gas supply to Abu Dhabi for 07 days to attend to all critical jobs that can only be performed by isolating the complete plant. The scope will be executed in 07 days and includes temporary repairs normalization, valve replacements (Mechanical, Control and PSVs), sectional replacement works (Piping Works including GRP), field modification works, and commissioning of the plant. The shutdown will be executed in February 2024.

Descon takes pride in its well-established presence in this market and is committed to winning more such business in the Turnaround segment.

Descon Engineering Wins Total Plant Shutdown Contract from Dolphin Energy

Design Engineering Services &amp; Technology (DEST) has been awarded Deign House Contract extension for another year i.e. 2023 by UEPL. The partnership originally began in 2008 and this extension is a testament to UEPL&rsquo;s trust and confidence in DEST&rsquo;s capabilities.

With the current extension, UEP Design House will enter its sixteenth (16) year of continuous operations. To date, UEP Design House has generated engineering business of approx. one (1) Million manhours making it the largest direct engineering business for DEST. The current extension will generate further business of 72,000 manhours.

Descon won summer of safety (Heat Stress) award for the year 2022 at Q-Chem Furnace 6 project as team has contributed well to completing one more year without any heat stress related incident at Q-Chem.

Though Descon has achieved more than 2 million man-hours throughout the project, the team managed well by following Q-Chem procedural requirements and thorough implementation at the field. Team has filled maximum ever &ldquo;Heat Stress Contact Forms&rdquo;, that shows our commitment towards safety.

Team has yet again demonstrated their absolute commitment to working safely even during the challenging summer months with high heat index to ensure that everyone goes home well. This was accomplished while at the same time meeting the project schedule and completion milestones.

Descon has officially announced its intentions to diversify in to agriculture by setting up a division called Descon Agri Businesses (DAB). This new venture seeks to innovate and improve upon the existing farm productivity and agriculture value-chain, helping provide the nation with nutritious produces and sustained economic growth.

Over the decades, Descon has led numerous large-scale projects in Construction, Power-generation, Oil-Refining, Chemicals and other diverse economic-sectors, in Pakistan and abroad. Its entry in to the agriculture sector is not entirely without expertise, as the company acquired shareholding in two innovative agriculture-based enterprises &ndash; &lsquo;Vital Agri Nutrient&rsquo; (VAN) and &lsquo;Vital Green&rsquo; (VG) at the start of this year.

Other initiatives by Descon in this sector include the construction of a state-of-the-art fruit, vegetables, spices and herbs dehydration facility to provide high quality dried products for local and export markets, and a Himalayan Wellness Company, operational since 2019, exporting Himalayan pink salt and high-quality raw honey to the far east and other markets.

DEL Industrial Services Division (ISD) - Qatar has recently been awarded a new project under the new initiative &ndash; Tanks Maintenance Segment by Qatar Shell GTL. This award is indeed a testament of the team&rsquo;s focused approach towards enhanced client engagement.

The scope of work includes Bottom plate replacement of tank (using jacking system) and internal piping works. The project will be completed by Mar-23.

Strengthening TANKS MAINTENANCE Segment - QATAR SHELL GTL AWARDS PROJECT to Descon

Descon Engineering (DEL) participated in the recently concluded ADIPEC 2022, world&rsquo;s most influential gathering of Oil &amp; Gas industry professionals. The Conference took place in Abu Dhabi, UAE from 31st October to 4th November 2022. DEL&rsquo;s delegation had representation from UAE, Pakistan and Qatar. The delegation also comprised senior representation from Olayan Descon and PDPS, DEL&rsquo;s joint ventures in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and South Africa respectively.

The event brought together over 1,200 global policy makers, CEOs, innovators, thought leaders and industry experts who play an important role in developing the ideas and solutions that will shape the industry&rsquo;s response to the realities of energy transition. Descon Engineering&rsquo;s Construction Division (Pakistan) wins a third consecutive contract from the mega Interloop Apparel Project at the Apparel Park, Faisalabad.

The scope of works entails construction of Marketing Building along with Administration Building (Time office, Guard Room, Change Room &amp; Locker Buildings) with a total covered area of 122,000 sft.

These repeat awards signify the confidence that the client is showing in Descon&rsquo;s capabilities and their commitment to delivering excellence in achieving their Vision 2025.

Third Win for Descon Engineering from Interloop Limited

Descon Engineering&rsquo;s Industrial Services Division - Qatar has been awarded a project under E&amp;I segment by Oryx GTL Limited. 
The scope of work includes laying down complete pipeline of above ground/underground firewater system in plant secondary area, EPIC of plant wide F&amp;G detection system upgrade, plant wide emergency visual alarm upgrade and reduce potable water supply temperature to safety showers/eye washers. The project will have direct positive impact on safety of the client&rsquo;s plant operations, and in turn their business. The job spans over a period of 16 months and is expected to be completed by January 2024.&nbsp; 
This is an encouraging win for Descon as the company is working hard and leveraging its reputation in the region to grow in the E&amp;I segment.

Descon Secures E&I Project from ORYX GTL

Descon Engineering&rsquo;s Industrial Services Division (PAK) has recently been awarded MEP Works &amp; Plant Relocation Project by MG JW Automobile Pakistan.&nbsp;

The scope of work covers MEP Works and Plant Relocation in their Plant-2 extension for New Paint &amp; Welding Shops. Critical challenges involved include piping works, HVAC, and firefighting system. DEL will also provide manpower for commissioning activities of the new paint shop &amp; relocated plant. Total duration of the project is seven months.

Descon has been working with some of the leading names in the automobile industry in Pakistan since 2016. Descon remains committed to delivering the project on time, ensuring compliance to global HSE standards.&nbsp;

Descon continues to be recognized for its focus on safety. Descon Engineering wins the Safety Drive Award by Qatar Chemical Company (Q-Chem) for setting and following high HSE standards. 
The Furnace 6 team participated effectively in the HSE drives, introducing some additional initiatives to ensure everyone&#39;s safety at site. 
Moreover, Descon Engineering is the first contractor to have won such an award from Q-Chem. It is an honor for Descon to receive this award as a responsible company, promoting behavioral and workplace safety.

Safety Drive Award by Qchem for Most Effective Participation in HSE Drives Programs

Descon Engineering&rsquo;s Construction Division (Pakistan) has been awarded with the Construction of Warehouse Building at BSP, Kasur. BSP&rsquo;s warehouse building met an unfortunate accident earlier this year, where it caught fire and burnt down along with all finished goods stored inside. During these testing times, Descon extended full support to BSP by deploying its safety personnel at their facility and carried out demolition and clearing works in the aftermath of the incident.

This new building will be a concrete shell structure roofed warehouse, instead of a steel structure building. It is spread across five zones with a total covered area of approximately 300,000 sft.

WWF &amp; Descon Engineering sign a MOU to clean Lahore city&rsquo;s plastic waste from waste water channels. The initial phase is to design a prototype solution, manage supply and construction of this recovery system on channels. The objective is to have a simple solution which must be scalable, cost-effective and easy to operate across the country. 
We look forward to partnering with WWF and providing solutions to make our cities free of plastic waste. This is a CSR venture of Descon and we look forward to more such future collaborations as well.

WWF & Descon Engineering Collaborate to Clean City Waste Water Channels of Plastic

Descon Engineering&rsquo;s Lahore Manufacturing Works (LMW) has been awarded with 8 Nos. Heat Exchangers (having over 2,500 Nos. Tubes each) with Surge Drums by Indus Energy Systems Inc, USA. Indus Energy System, USA is renowned for its supplying process refrigeration and gas compression system to more than 500 projects around the globe for LNG, NG and Oil and Gas. Indus Energy is to supply refrigeration system to Venture Global Mexico (through UOP), while LMW will manufacture the heat exchangers for this refrigeration system. The received order is the first one for such overseas supplies in Mexico from Pakistan, and has been won after competing with leading manufacturers of USA and the Gulf region.&nbsp; 
The scope of work includes thermal &amp; mechanical design, procurement, fabrication and (FOB Port) transportation of exchangers within a period of 10 months.&nbsp;

HUNGARIAN DELEGATION VISITS DESCON TO DISCUSS POSSIBLE COLLABORATION

Descon Engineering&rsquo;s (Qatar) Management was recently invited by QATARENERGY for the inauguration ceremony of Barzan Gas Plant. His Excellency Saad Sherida&nbsp; Al-Kaabi, Minister of State of Energy Affairs and President and CEO QatarEnergy delivered the inaugural speech and appreciated all the EPC Contractors and Construction Contractors for their contributions and tireless efforts for the successful delivery of the project and executing 130 Million Man-hours without Lost Time Injuries. After the speech HE called His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, the Amir of the State of Qatar, for the formal inauguration of Barzan Gas Plant. This special ceremony was held on 15th March 2022 at Ras Laffan Industrial City.

The Barzan Gas Plant will produce and process natural gas from the North Field to serve the requirements of local power generation and water desalinization. It will also produce associated hydrocarbon products for supply to local refinery and petrochemical industries as well as for export to international markets.

Descon has been a proud Construction Contractor in the Barzan project, with scope of work comprising general construction works in the Common Process (South) and Off-sites area including the

Slug Catcher, Flare Stack, Cooling Water Lines. Descon initiated execution in 2011 and completed its scope in June 2015. A total of 10 million man-hours were put in by Descon, with a total manpower of 3,900.

Descon is proud to be a part of this world class Gas production and processing facility, a core element of Qatar&rsquo;s energy infrastructure, and a major component in the Qatar National Vision 2030.

BARZAN GAS PLANT INAUGURATION

The Descon Power Solutions&#39; delegation comprising the CEO Mr. Toseef Ijaz Rana, Head of Operations Mr. Aftab Jehangir and Head of Business Development Mr. Kazi Fahim, recently visited its partners in Spain, Germany, and the United Arab Emirates. The partners are global key players in the wind and thermal power services&#39; segments. 
The intent of the visit was to share competencies and find mutually beneficial areas for cooperation. Furthermore, strategy for working together was also finalized. The visit helped DPS establish good relations with important people in the respective organizations and also to witness the breadth of services, warehousing &amp; logistics facilities, and training centers, available with the partners.

Descon Engineering&nbsp;(DEL) has won a Waste Heat Recovery Boiler &amp; Thermal Oil Heater manufacturing project from Gatron Industries, Balochistan, the largest manufacturers of&nbsp;Polyester Filament Yarn &amp; PET Preforms in Pakistan.

In addition to a 15tph HRSG, for the first time ever a 881TPH @310 ÌŠC 15 bar(a) oil heater will be manufactured in Pakistan, a matter of true pride for Descon. The engineering feat, to make the largest capacity oil heater in Pakistan, has been approved by Solar Gas Turbine and will prove to be a true testament to the skill of DEL.

The overall scope of work includes Engineering, Procurement, Installation &amp; Commissioning works. DEL is committed to ensuring that the first time client, Gatron, will see the noteworthy customer journey that the company is recognized for.

Descon Automation &amp; Control (DAC) has been awarded a project by SNGPL for the supply of Remote Terminal Units (RTU) for their SCADA system.&nbsp; The project was won through public tender, outclassing Avanceon &amp; Maxwell Automation. The scope includes Detailed Engineering, Integration, Assembly, Testing and Commissioning of Emerson RTUs, GE Remote Radios and configuration of new RTUs with existing AVEVA SCADA Host at different SNGPL sites.

The project was awarded to Descon Engineering in October 2021, and the execution began in end December 2021. With a total of 65,000 man-days, Descon delivered the project to the client within the agreed time-span of 14 days.

Descon&rsquo;s and NRL&rsquo;s relationship dates back to 1981. NRL showed confidence in Descon&rsquo;s capabilities when it was in its infancy and was not much known in the engineering world. It was NRL that brought a major recognition to the company as a reliable partner in progress, performing a much complex job with an illustrious profile.

The NRL turnaround 2021-2022 is considered to be one of the largest TA in Pakistan for the current fiscal year and Descon is proud to have been a part of it.

Descon Oxychem Limited achieved a record production (in a month) of 3,644 MT in January 2022. This is an all-time record for the company since it started operations in 2008. The previous best was in December 2021 with an impressive figure of 3,635 MT.

Descon Oxychem enhanced its production capacity from 34,000 to 42,000 Tons in the 2020, which has led to better production performance of the company. The improvement in production numbers is an on-going process and the team hopes to further out-perform itself in coming months.

ISLAMABAD - Bureau of Emigration &amp; Overseas Employment held an award ceremony in Islamabad where Descon was awarded for being the top manpower exporter from Pakistan, for the last 3 years. Descon has played a vital role in Pakistan accomplishing this feat, by being the highest manpower exporting entity. There are a total of 4,582 registered promoters nationwide. In course of the last 3 years, Descon has successfully been able to mobilize a human capital of more than 13,000 while ensuring comprehensive fulfillment of company as well as government regulations and procedures. Muhammad Ayub Afridi, Advisor to Prime Minister on Overseas Pakistanis &amp; Human Resource Development, was the chief guest. The event was well attended by POEPA Chairman Sarfaraz Zahoor Cheema, Kashif Ahmed Noor, Director General Bureau of Emigration &amp; Overseas Employment, and Syed Javed Hassan, Chairman NAVTTC. Apart from providing opportunities for local employment, Descon is also responsible for more than 13000 workers sent overseas from Pakistan in last 3 years. Mobilizing Over 6000 Skill Force, Descon Successfully Completes Multiple Plant Turnarounds in the UA

Descon Engineering wins 4 years long-term contract from Qatar Fertilizer Company - the world&rsquo;s largest single-site producer of ammonia and urea. The scope covers Turnaround for Qatar Fertilizer Plants. This is the first time Qatar Fertilizer has awarded Turnaround for all its plants (six in all) to a single contractor&nbsp;Descon Engineering.

Qatar Fertilizer operates six trains of Ammonia and Urea plants, Melamine plant and Urea Formaldehyde (UFC) Plant in its facility at Mesaieed, State of Qatar.

Maple Leaf Cement awarded Construction Contract to Descon Engineering Limited [DESCON].

DESCON has a long-standing relationship with Maple Leaf Cement, having successfully contributed towards the construction of Maple Leaf&#39;s Line 3 in 2019. Maple Leaf has now awarded the contract for the construction of its upcoming Line 4 to DESCON, to be launched in 2022. The scope of the work includes civil works of 7,000 metric tons cement clinker per day plant at existing Maple Leaf Cement Factory in Iskanderabad, District Mianwali.

Being a market leader, Descon has executed major industrial projects across the region and as a leading cement contractor, it has successfully delivered and worked on numerous cement plants in Pakistan with a total capacity of 80,900 TDP.

DESCON&rsquo;s work and its long service history in Pakistan is a testament to its belief in Partners in Progress. It is because of for this very reason that Maple Leaf has once again chosen DESCON to develop its new project.

Maple Leaf Awards A Contract to DESCON Again

It&#39;s a matter of great pleasure to share the ADNOC&#39;s project completion with all committed KPIs.

This project was awarded at the peak of pandemic COVID-19 and had a very challenging schedule with a major procurement of PE4 black conversion feeder packages from KTRON Switzerland being on project critical path. Mobilization of vendors from Germany for commissioning was another challenge handled by supply chain and site team, supported by admin team, with true display of teamwork in letter and spirit. The dedication and commitment shown by all stakeholders in delivering the project is noteworthy.

Kudos to the remarkable efforts of all support departments (proposals, supply chain, Contracts, subcontracting, HR, Admin, E&amp;P, Finance teams) and complete site team for their continuous commitment to take Descon through and making this another success for the company in Borouge and managing to get the second consecutive appreciation from ADNOC on EPC/Retrofits.

ADNOC acknowledges Descon&#39;s commitment to deliver excellence in execution

On 17th May 2021, Descon and Alectris announced a comprehensive end-to-end service partnership that covers the whole lifecycle of a PV project &ndash; design, construction and operation, offering an end-to-end service that addresses all the technical parameters for achieving maximum performance from solar plants. The project initiated by Descon Power Solutions and Alectris to boost renewable energy growth in Pakistan also provides full transparency through the use of digitalization and technology and aids foreign investors in entering local markets.

Pakistan is making efforts to reduce CO2 and renewable energy can help achieve this mission. It is estimated that the solar market deployment will be between 565MW to 1,120MW in 2021. By 2030, there will hopefully be a 26% increase in the generation of renewable energy.

Descon Power Solutions will provide solar operations and maintenance, asset management, check-up and diagnostic, engineering and improvement services. Descon Engineering Industrial Services Division - UAE has been awarded contract to route fuel gas PSV outlet lines to HC flare header at Habshan 1, by ADNOC Gas Processing under the EPC Retrofit segment.
