Knowledge and experience in engineering activities in all EPC project phases including feasibility/economic studies, conceptual design, identification, and evaluation of alternatives, front-end design, detail engineering, process engineering deliverables, construction, and commissioning/startup. Fair knowledge of process modelling and simulation including sensitivity and error analysis.
Ability to develop/prepare process designs for both proposals and new projects, to ensure accuracy, competitiveness and compliance with design standards, specifications, relevant codes and EHS requirements.
Provide expert advice / recommendations on various treatability / optimized design options for new projects.
Well versed with process control and strategies, automation design, safety and environment systems as DCS, PLCs, Control Networks etc. critical in oil & gas and other chemical process plants operations and performance.
Excellent communication and inter-personal skills for inter-acting within Descon or external engineering sub-contractors, client’s own engineers and appointed engineering designers, consultants, and process licensors.
Experience Required:
Minimum 15 years of experience on local and international EPC projects and has been involved in all phases of Projects including process design, detailed engineering, procurement support, fabrication, and commissioning.
