Description of Works:

Complete site fabrication and electromechanical erection of draft tube / penstock steel liner, stators & rotors, and spiral casing for tunnel No. 5 turbines and embedded parts. Also, stress relieving of Y-bifurcation, having maximum plate thickness of 80 mms. This job required hydrostatic pressure testing, interior painting & site clearance in addition.
Electrical installation works included equipment like Generator and Exciters, Transformers, HV, MV & LV switchgear and cables etc.
The work scope also included all equipment and material transportation from Karachi to Mangla.
